The Social Reconciliation Centre at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura proudly announces the launch of the inaugural volume and first issue of the Journal of Social Reconciliation (JSR). This pioneering academic journal aims to foster dialogue and scholarship on the complex processes of social reconciliation, peacebuilding, and conflict resolution. The JSR provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share their insights, case studies, and theoretical advancements, contributing to the global discourse on creating harmonious and inclusive societies. With a focus on interdisciplinary approaches and a commitment to academic rigor, the journal seeks to illuminate the pathways to sustainable peace and justice in post-conflict settings. The launch of this first issue marks a significant milestone in our mission to advance understanding and promote reconciliation through scholarly excellence.
